When you have health insurance it can be that you have the right to get from the Dutch government a healthcare allowance called “zorgtoeslag“.
The amount of this allowance depends on your income and on your household size and the amount is decided by the Dutch government and changes annually.
For the year 2023 the allowance can be from €0,- until €152,- per month!
If you are eligible to receive a healthcare allowance, you can apply for this benefit on the Tax Office (Belastingdienst) website via ‘Mijn toeslagen’ using your DigiD account.
