As a Logistics Road Transport Employee, you are the spider in the web for road transport. You switch gears rapidly between customers and carriers to arrange everything down to the last detail. You start your day with a good cup of coffee and a check on current shipments. You will be working at one of our clients specialized in global logistics solutions. For this vacancy, you will receive a contract directly with our client.
Coordinating daily road transport shipments and managing bookings.
Negotiating with subcontractors to secure the best freight rates.
Maintaining close contact and building relationships with international customers.
Monitoring shipments and keeping track & trace systems up to date.
Proactively solving logistical bottlenecks and challenges.
Managing the correct documentation and administrative processing.
Optimizing loading processes in close cooperation with carriers.
Handling billing and reporting on transport flows.
MBO/HBO (vocational/professional) work and thinking level.
Experience in logistics or transport is a major plus.
A stress-resistant mindset; you keep your cool when things get busy.
Strong negotiation skills and a true hands-on mentality.
Result-oriented with a talent for setting the right priorities.
A proactive and accurate way of working.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
