As an order picker, you’ll work in a fast-paced warehouse where you and your team ensure every order is picked perfectly and shipped out on time. With a scanner in one hand and your headset on, you’ll zip through the aisles and always know where to go. Kickstart your workday and discover just how dynamic logistics work can be!
What does your day look like as an Order Picker?
You start your day at 7:30 AM in the warehouse. First, you kick off the morning with a cup of coffee together with your colleagues. At 8:00 AM, the day officially begins with a team briefing, where you’re informed about the goals and any special focus points for the day.
After the briefing, you get to work with your pick lists. Using a scanner and a trolley, you move through the warehouse to collect the correct products. Each item is checked for quantity, quality, and expiration date. Once your orders are complete, you pack them neatly and make sure everything is ready for shipping.
In between, you keep your workspace clean and tidy. Is your section a bit quiet? Then you jump in to help colleagues in other areas of the warehouse. Together, you make sure everything runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Picking products based on pick lists using handscanner.
- Checking items for quantity, quality, and expiration date.
- Packing and preparing orders for shipment.
- Replenishing stock in the warehouse.
- Scanning goods using a handheld scanner.
- Keeping your workspace clean and safe.
- Reporting deviations or issues to your team leader.
- Loading and unloading trucks (if needed).
- Working with roll containers, pallets, and EPT.
- Following all warehouse safety guidelines.
We’re looking for
- You speak Dutch or English.
- You’re full-time available.
- You’re physically fit and ready to get to work.
- Experience in order picking is a plus, not a must.
- You’re accurate and think ahead.
- Willing to work in rotating shifts (day/evening).
- You live nearby or have your own transport.
- You enjoy working as part of a team.
- You’re reliable and stick to agreements.
What we offer
- Gross hourly wage starting at €14,13 (depending on experience)
- Extra pay for evening and weekend shifts
- Travel allowance starting from 10 km
