Logistics Team Leader

Are you someone who thrives on structure, teamwork and responsibility? As a logistics team leader, you’ll manage a close-knit team of eight colleagues in a dynamic e-commerce environment. Together you’ll handle incoming freight, break down pallets and sort goods efficiently. You’ll work alongside your team while keeping a sharp eye on the bigger picture. This is a temporary position via Staffice with the possibility of a direct contract with the company if you perform well. Kickstart your workday with energy and leadership!

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a logistics team of 8 people
  • Oversee day-to-day planning and workflow
  • Work hands-on breaking down pallets and sorting shipments
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace
  • Identify process improvements and implement changes
  • Ensure clear communication within the team and across departments
  • Train and onboard new team members
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Report directly to the supervisor or manager
  • Work in two rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends

We’re looking for someone who

  • Speaks fluent English (Dutch is a plus, but not required)
  • Has experience in logistics, preferably in a leadership role
  • Holds a valid forklift certificate
  • Can apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)
  • Has a valid driver’s license and personal transport (location is not accessible by public transit)
  • Is flexible to work in two different shifts (including evenings and weekends)
  • Is reliable, structured and detail-oriented
  • Is physically fit and ready to roll up their sleeves
  • Can stay calm and act quickly under pressure
  • Has a strong focus on safety and team performance

We offer

  • Gross monthly salary between €2,800 and €3,300 depending on experience
  • Shift bonuses for evening and weekend hours
  • Opportunity for a permanent contract with the client after a successful trial period
