About

Are you ready to lead, inspire, and make an impact? As an Assistant Production Supervisor, you are the driving force behind a dynamic production team, ensuring high-quality products and a safe, efficient work environment. If you have the skills, leadership, and experience to guide a team to success, we want to hear from you.

A Day as an Assistant Production Supervisor
Your day begins with a cup of coffee, reviewing the tasks ahead. Once in your work gear, you step onto the production floor, ensuring machines are set, ingredients are ready, and safety protocols are in place.

As production starts, you monitor the first batch, ensuring quality and maintaining a steady workflow. Any issues are quickly resolved, and you guide your team to keep everything running smoothly.

Throughout the shift, you conduct quality checks, address deviations, and coordinate with the maintenance team for any technical issues. Clear communication keeps the team aligned and efficient.

After a brief lunch break, you return for more inspections, focusing on hygiene and safety. You ensure products meet quality standards and compile production data, addressing any discrepancies with your team.

At the end of the day, you oversee cleanup, conduct a team debrief, and prepare a concise report for the Production Supervisor. With a final safety check, you leave, ready for another productive day.

Your Role:

  • Lead and motivate a team of 15 production employees, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Assisting with the start-up and shutdown of the production line.
  • Participate in hands-on production, including manual product creation.
  • Conduct quality checks and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
  • Supervise and support team members in their daily tasks, performance evaluations, and development.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Manage scheduling, monitor attendance, and oversee absence management.
  • Identify training needs, ensure continuous team development, and maintain a high standard of performance.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe workspace for all.
  • Reporting progress to the Production Supervisor.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production environment.
  • Proven leadership experience as a team leader or in a similar supervisory role.
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take decisive action.
  • Hands-on approach, willing to participate in the production process.
  • Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards (HACCP guidelines is a plus) in a production setting.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary between €2754,42 and €2987,58 gross per month, depending on experience.
  • Travel allowance.
  • 8.33% holiday allowance and the option of weekly payments.
  • Training and career development opportunities.
